TL;DR
The best Instagram scraper is Instagram Scraper, built by Apify itself: 372,946 users, 4.7 stars from 558 reviews, model-specific pricing. Apify maintains the whole top of this category in-house, which matters against Meta’s anti-bot systems. Specialists for profiles, reels, posts, and comments are cheaper for narrow jobs.
Direct answer: use Instagram Scraper by Apify. It is the most used Instagram actor on the platform, with 372,946 users and a 4.7 rating across 558 reviews. It scrapes profiles, hashtags, and post URLs, and returns captions, likes, comments, timestamps, and media URLs with model-specific pricing.
Instagram is the hardest mainstream site to scrape. Meta invests millions in blocking bots. That is why the platform’s own team maintaining the top actors is a real advantage: review current maintenance and support information.

1. Instagram Scraper (Apify)
The flagship. Mixed inputs, full public output, and 558 reviews averaging 4.7 stars. It is the one actor on this page we would hand to someone who has never scraped anything. Half a dozen input types work: profile URLs, hashtags, post links, or search terms.
2. Instagram Profile Scraper (Apify)
The bulk account tool. Feed it a list of usernames and get bio, follower count, following count, post count, and recent posts for each. With 201,440 users it is the standard for influencer research and lead lists. Same 4.7 rating as the flagship.
3 to 6. Reels, Posts, Hashtags, Comments
Each Apify specialist does one input type. Two honest warnings from the ratings. The Reel Scraper sits at 3.8, with reviews citing missing view counts on some runs. The Hashtag Scraper is the weakest at 3.4, because Instagram limits how deep hashtag feeds go for everyone. Neither problem has a better fix elsewhere. The Comments Scraper at 4.3 is the solid pick of this group.
7. Instagram Posts Scraper (ParseForge)
It pulls posts from public profiles with model-specific pricing and holds 4.7 stars from its first 5 reviews. Its strength is simplicity: one input, flat output, no options to configure wrong. For big or complex jobs, use the flagship above.
How We Ranked These
These comparisons use saved Apify platform data from August 2026, ordered by recorded users and ratings. Those counts do not establish reliability or repair time. Confirm current pricing and maintenance on Apify.
When None of These Fit
If you need private-account data, follower graphs, or DM data, no honest tool sells that. If you need public data at a scale these actors do not serve, a custom build with mobile proxies is possible. It is the most painful DIY target on this site. Budget for constant breakage.
